Promenade du Peyrou in Montpellier, was built during Louis XIV's reign. Montpellier is a city in southern France on the Mediterranean Sea.
This digital painting is from a photograph taken circa 1895. These great old colorized photographs remember a time gone by. But time has deteriorated many of them. My goal is that through painting them they are restored to life. I hope they touch you as they do me.
