This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

About Mary DeSilva
Mary deSilva, the 2012 Harvest Cup Polo Classic poster artist, is a native of southern Louisiana. While always having an interest in art, Mary did not begin her career as a visual artist until after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita ravaged her home state. She began painting as a way to relieve stress. Mary also felt a vocation to share the healing aspects of art and began teaching beginner acrylic painting classes. Mary is a member of the St. Tammany Art Association in Covington, Louisiana. She has participated in several competitions and events sponsored by the STAA and has had paintings featured in Inside Northside Magazine.
