Of my sweet rose in the middle with me.
She came by day
She left by night
What caused her to
Take off in flight?
I miss my sweet and lovely Rose.
A teardrop falls as my eyes close.
Iin memory of my long time friend, Rose Belsher, whom I miss very much even after all these years....)

Thank you for your heartfelt comments. The missing "Rose" is in reference to Rose Belsher, a co-worker and friend who passed away. She was only 62. We were friends for many years.She taught lst grade. I taught 2nd grade in a really tough district. Quite a few years have gone by since she died, but I think of her often.
