Description
THE LAW AT MESCAL by PRISCILLA BURGERS
Mescal Arizona is an Old West town 50 miles east of Tucson that was built as a movie set. In the 1960's. MESCAL was built originally for TV, filming "The Young Riders" and Michael Landon's "House on the Prairie", but classics followed like Jose Wales, The Quick and the Dead, Stagecoach with the Highwaymen, and Buffalo Soldiers with Danny Glover. For almost 20 years, Frank Brown has been the Sheriff in these parts. Frank is the sole resident of MESCA except for Samantha, a stray black cat, that follows him everywhere. This is a sister site of Old Tucson Studios. Frank and Samantha are pictured here in the saloon that has appeared in several Western movies. This image is also available in sepia in my Black and White Gallery. This image was photographed in Spring of 2015.
The Fine Art America logo will not appear on your finished product.

I love the sense of anticipation you have created here, as if the showdown was just about to happen. Terrific storytelling.

Love the use of light and the feeling of the old west you have captured here Priscilla. However, I think my favourite part of the image is the cat!! L/F
