Description
While waiting for spring to arrive so I can play in my garden, I am enjoying creating some digital garden art. I love color - the blends of golden yellow, red, orange in contrast to blue, purple and mauve appeal to me. For this composition, I combined my yellow watercolor roses and blue watercolor irises and, with some digital manipulation, moved shapes and changed colors. The shapes and veins of the flutter of flower petals reminded me of a heart. I added the vibrant blue radiating from the center on the exterior edges to make it appear as though the heart is emanating energetic vibrations. I added the teardrop shaped dew drop as a focal point. It seemed appropriate to call this image THE HEART OF MY GARDEN.
