Description
This is an original watercolor from my own reference photo of a Venetian mascarone ( a carved, stone head on the keystone of an archway). This old, stately guy has been watching the entrance of this palazzo for about five hundred years! I took the reference photo from underneath and at an angle from the mascarone, creating an unusual perspective.
This original has been juried into the art Show Selections 2012 scheduled for Sept. 2012. It will not be available for purchase until then.
