I absolutely love this photo of Hazel. My first visit to the Smoky Mountains was in April 2017. I have been searching for a black bear photo for years and this one stole my heart. This beautiful girl was photographed the same year. I am very pleased with the canvas print!!

Artist's Description
When I first spotted this small herd of American Elk they were running, probably about half speed. So I eased up in my vehicle and hoped they would stop. Sure enough, they did. Looking at them, I can’t help but think some of them want their photograph made and some want to keep running.
Even though there was several hundred feet between us, the afternoon light was magnificent and I got some decent shots before they decided to move on.
I made this photograph at Fort Niobrara National Wildlife Refuge a few miles northeast of Valentine, Nebraska in November 2018. Fort Niobrara is in the top central part of Nebraska, not far from South Dakota.
This photograph has had an artistic filter applied to give it qualities unique to the art of painting.

I am sure that I will stay very active with my photography. Photography has blessed me in so many ways, and I continue to be in awe of Gods wonderful work with this beautiful world we live in. In 1967 country musics Song of the Year was Its Such A Pretty World Today, performed by the...
