Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Hi! I'm Ellen. I am a self taught artist, born and raised in Lafayette, LA. I've been painting all of my life, thanks to the creative influences of my older sister Erin. I never thought of my art as being anything other than a hobby until I returned to Lafayette from college...that's when I began to paint the Lebowski series. I always wanted to paint The Dude but as I had never painted portraits, or much of anything realistic, I was convinced that I couldn't do The Duder any justice.
