We generally have a few deer that wander through our little farm property in Northwest Indiana, however, we rarely see large male bucks. This was taken during a major snowstorm that hit early here in Northwest Indiana. Our area receives part of the lake effect snow coming off of Lake Michigan. This buck was chasing after a female doe that kept disappearing into our back woods, and then appearing again. He was absolutely majestic and stately as he moved through this drifted snow.

I'm a retired teacher from Indiana, mother of three sons, and wife to a very patient, supportive husband.
