Description
Always a delight for children and for those who love colorfull things, the balloon man is a symol of everything fun in life. If you have ever gone to an amusement park, county fair or theme park chances are that you have seen the Balloon Man. Next to Candy Floss and Ice Cream, the Balloon person is a favourite amongst the kids. You can see the colourful menagerie of bobbing helium spheres easily above the sea of heads, hats and umbrellas, delighting all who love the visual life.
I painted this some years ago to placate my kids after I disappointed them by not buying each a ballon on a trip to Disney World, so now they had many balloons to look at permanently for years to come. The image also served me well as one of a set four seasonal print I released commemorating Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
