Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND
This is very interesting, and actually quite pretty, I think, Kevin. But there should be a wayward breast or 2 (or more) somewhere! I really enjoy this series of dead people. After dealing with outraged mothers and pet-owners a few times I decided to paint only people who were dead or unknown (including me!). One aspect I like of these is your strong identifiable gesture that definitely identifies the subject with happy and healthy humor ((NOT caricature!). You've done so many different styles and topics -- all successfully! -- Kevin. How's about knocking of a few more of these for joy for all! Peace, etc., Bruce
