This is one of the many parks in the Texas Hill Country where the bluebonnets have been good this year and tonight we capture a beautiful sunset with these wonderful lupines along Lake Travis. The Texas hill country has some great bluebonnets and other wildflower in the spring. This incredible shot in the Texas Hill country was along the Lake Travis where the Colorado river flows into the lake with a field of bluebonnets out side of Austin. The Colorado river flows into Lake Travis it is all part of the Highland lakes in the Texas hill country. After the sun started going down it lit up the clouds with these wonderful color of red, orange and purple over a field of bluebonnets along the Lake Travis as it finished off the day. It made for a perfect end of the day with these beautiful Texas wildflowers or as some call them lupines in the hill country.
