Description

I made a little collage that incorporated what’s called a “tesuke” card, a stylized character that means “tea,” and a violet 5-sen postage stamp (first issued in 1913) from my collection. I used paper that I handpainted as a background to give the collage a bit more “presence.” It’s spare, simple, and I like the hint of color that the postage stamp provides.
