Duncan Sawyer replied:

Thanks Andrea, Tarah was diagnosed with cancer and was to have her arm amputated, but was wanted the surgeon to preserve her Tattoo, which They did successfully. Tarah is certainly a survivor.

wonderful portrait!

Duncan Sawyer replied:

Thanks Elena, so glad you like the drawing of Tarah, I hoped it reflected her character. My sister Karen is also a left arm amputee.

She is beautiful Duncan! l/f

Duncan Sawyer replied:

Thanks Ann, I liked her expression and pose. Unlike my sister Tarah prefers not to use a prosthetic arm

Beautiful, inspired imagery, Duncan...you have captured Tara's light, her capacity for joy. LF

Duncan Sawyer replied:

Thanks Ann, of many images of Tarah I liked this one as there seemed to be a brightness and energy about her. Having beaten cancer was going to make the most of life..
