Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

What you see here, is the very last composition I created when I was in Harriman State Park, NY.
At this point of the morning, the sun was too high in the sky therefore producing harsh light. I decided to take a small hike into the woods that surround Lake Kanawauke and found this interesting boulder that was hiding out in the shadows produced by the tree canopy above.
I was immediately struck by the similarity of a Tyrannosaurus Rex skull, so the title was easy to create! The beautiful back-lit autumn foliage served as a perfect backdrop to this massive rock.
