This is Sylvester. He was my buddy for the two years that I was privileged to be his fur mama. He was a feral born stray tuxedo cat that started eating on my front porch at my free cat buffet from the time he was just a little kitten. At first he was kind of shy but the more he got used to seeing me put the food down the more brave he became until one day he came into the house and just stayed. I got him neutered and vaccinated but when he was about 2 years old he got a respiratory illness and passed away. That was about 3 years ago and I always meant to make a pet portrait of him, so here it is made from a photo I took while he was sitting in my lap at the peak of his health. I called him Silly for short but he looked more like grouchy here.

Everywhere I look, I see art. If you cut me, I bleed art. I am an artist from birth. It is a talent and a gift God gave me. I specialize in old school digital art, botanical, abstracts and photo manipulation with an emphasis on light and color. One of my goals as a digital artist is to create art that doesn't look digital. My style is eclectic and I focus less on exact details and more on impressions and feelings.
