Nancy, you are one of my favorite artists ever! This portrait shows your drawing skills so very well. I am always in awe when I visit your site. There's such a variety of FINE work on your FAA site. I could spend hours and hourse here. Another fave. LF

Always nice to hear from you and see that you are into the back logs of my art. I think after awhile much of what we post gets "buried". Nice to see that it's not lost forever!!

I wish to send thanks to Jolanta for including this portrait in "Human Portraits..." I can still remember doing this drawing and talking with the young girl who was a member of our class. She said this was a perfect likeness of ....her mother!

What a beautiful drawing! Love this portrait! v/f

Thanks, Lenore. The sitter looked at the portrait and said I had done a perfect portrait of her mother as a young girl. Imagine!

This wonderful teacher had a light she brought to class and she aimed it at the sitter's face so that we could have shadows to help with building facial structures. What love and wisdom she gave us!
