About Denny Dowdy
I was that kid, from Kindergarten on, who was always called upon to draw a pumpkin or Santa Claus for class but I was more interested in the Beatles, cool clothes, cars and girls. I attended the Colorado Institute of Art studying Commercial Art in the mid-70s, but there was golf to play and skiing to do so any artistic endeavors stayed quietly on the back burner. When I moved back to Kansas City in 1988 I had some success with pen and ink illustration for Coca-Cola USA and when more life...
