Sunset Amusement Park Ferris Wheel On The Pier Fine Art Photography Print
I went to the Santa Monica pier in California to take some sunset shots and I was lucky to be there just at the right time. Santa Monica Beach and up the coast line is one of my favorite areas to take seascape photos. The amusement park on the pier and the Ferris wheel against the sunset was spectacular. Timing is everything in landscape photography, I shot this one right on time.
The Santa Monica pier Ferris wheel uses 160,000 energy-efficient LED (light-emitting diode) lights that'll "provide 75 percent greater energy savings than the previous incandescent bulbs...With the adaptation of its solar-power application, the Pacific Park wheel will continue to be the world's only solar-powered Ferris wheel.
