Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Love the iPhone case. Takes me back to Greece every time I look at it. I have received many compliments
Sunrise really lights up the valley along the Colorado River at Lipon Point.
This is close to Desert View Campground, so its fairly easy to get up before sunup and run over to Lipon Point. Just set up a tripod and wait with it pointed upriver towards Desert View. Using RAW works best to capture as much of the range in digital as possible.
Viewing the canyon
Lipan Point is a promontory located on the South Rim. This point is located to the east of the Grand Canyon Village along the Desert View Drive. There is a parking lot for visitors who care to drive along with the Canyon's bus service that routinely stops at the point. The trailhead to the Tanner Trail is located just before the parking lot. The view from Lipan Point shows a wide array of rock strata and the Unkar Creek area in the inner canyon.

All your beautiful and vibrant Grand Canyon landscapes are inspiring me to visit there.
Bob and Nadine Johnston replied:
When You Visit the Grand Canyon, if possible, visit from the middle of September, seven middle of May. From June, until September because of the heat in the Canyon. There is a lot of Haze, were clouds in the Canyon. When the clouds, the lower than 7000 feet
