Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I had the privilege of being asked by the arts council of williamson county, tennessee (www.artscouncilwc.org) to paint “en plein aire” with several other artists in the 39th annual main street festival put on by the heritage foundation of williamson county tennessee (www.williamsonheritage.org). The weather was perfect! I set up on the street in front of St. Philip’s Catholic Church & sketched it out while the light & shadows were strong. Soli Deo Gloria.
