Description
As I make my artist books, I separate out the various collages I create for them and offer them here as bits, or examples, of what I’m making in the studio. In this one I used hand-dyed indigo paper, torn scraps of black acrylic paint, mulberry papers, and a gold-spattered red circle. The script comes from a vintage letter that I have in my collection. The colors are bold, and the shapes range from strong rectangles to softer torn edges, to the smooth circle in the center.

It's been too long since I took a look at what you are creating. So I revisited your work just now and I could say the same thing back to you: "you have such depths of creative vision and talent!" What I especially appreciate about you (and me) is how we both find so many things out there to photograph, not to mention whatever we create in post-processing. I worry that I have no solid "style." My thinking is that life is too short to have limitations! Right? So thank you for your comment. You opened my eyes a bit -- always welcome!
