Sun Parakeet, aka Sun Conure holding a nut on branch in rain forest. Painting was accepted and shown at 2016 Bosque Art Classic in Clifton, Texas. I photographed the bird at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, and was inspired by Robert Bateman's work to add rainforest flora and foggy background.
