Firstly, I want to say that I am truly appreciative to those who take the time to view my work. Growing up, I always loved to paint and draw but struggled with direction and instruction in art classes. I pursued a career as an oncology nurse and spent time traveling the country for over a decade and have only recently had the opportunity to get back in touch with what I loved so much as a child. I paint because I truly enjoy it. I love the way that painting has caused me to examine my surroundings and envrionment.
