Description
Subliminal Wake Up Call::...
...........................................................
Subliminal stimuli (pron.: /sʌbˈlɪmɨnəl/; literally "below threshold"), contrary to supraliminal stimuli or "above threshold", are any sensory stimuli below an individual's threshold for conscious perception. A recent review of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) studies shows that subliminal stimuli activate specific regions of the brain despite participants being unaware. Visual stimuli may be quickly flashed before an individual can process them, or flashed and then masked, thereby interrupting the processing. Audio stimuli may be played below audible volumes or masked by other stimuli.
My cat uses this audio technique very effectivly. Not sure what the stare-down and silent meows mean in cat language, but... I'm pretty sure it's .....wake up.. wake up.. wake up.. I will stare at you, untill you wake up.. wake up.. wake up.. wake up......

Wow!! Amazing! My cat used to stare at me like this to wake me up…I'd wake up to her sitting on my chest while she purred and drooled over me until I woke up! :D If that didn't work, she'd start licking my eyelids!!! (that worked)

Really!! I had one one that would link my check in one place and if that didn't work it would be an eye lid! LOL! Thank you very much for sharing Avis!!
