Panoramic of the arc of the Milky Way from south to north at the lighthouse at Cape Spartivento in the southern tip of Sardinia (Ca). The rays in rotating beacon light up the center of the Milky Way, also known as the galactic center; it is the rotational center of the Milky Way in the direction of the Sagittarius constellation, where the galaxy appears brighter. The interesting analogy is that in this galactic center there are rapidly rotating stars called pulsars, the so-called "lighthouses of the universe."
