I absolutely love this photo of Hazel. My first visit to the Smoky Mountains was in April 2017. I have been searching for a black bear photo for years and this one stole my heart. This beautiful girl was photographed the same year. I am very pleased with the canvas print!!

About Frank Fernino
I'm a retired software engineer living on Cape Cod with my wife, Mary Jane, and my yellow lab Daisy. I got started in photography in 1964 as a sports photographer for my college newspaper. After many years of film photography with my Nikon-F, I have completely made the transition to digital images. Since I live on Cape Cod, my interests lie in nature photography that can highlight the changing seasons of this wonderful part of the country. In addition, I love to take photos of animals and of the places that I travel. I hope you enjoy my work.
