The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Spotlight on the Rainbow Stairs - Istanbul by Debra Martz
On August 27, 2013 a retired local resident, Huseyin Celikel, set out to paint the 200+ steps leading from Fındıklı to Cihangir in rainbow colors. He did not intend for it to be a political statement; he just wanted to brighten people's day. At first, Celikel painted only three of the steps, but then, after positive comments from passers-by, he decided to paint them all. Four days and nearly $800 in paint supplies, all the stairs were painted with the help of an assistant. Soon, residents were posing for pictures on these colorful steps. But the cheerful and colorful moment was short lived. On Aug. 30th the local municipality quickly took action and repainted the stairs to their original cement grey. The greying of the steps triggered more protests and calls to repaint the Findikli stairs in bright colors. Many people across Turkey took to brightly painting stairs in their cities.
