The guy on the left is a senator, and I can only assume this is a weird publicity shot of some kind, though he does seem into it.

The balls in the hands of the kids, looked like oranges to me, one had a dimple, and everyone seemed to have one. Maybe it was payment to be in the picture.

The scene had a certain Rockwell like charm to it. Which is why I spent the extra time to clean up all the noise, grit, stains, and totally over exposed parts in it.

I chose colors that were bright in the background because they were softer in focus. Kids usually wore darker shorts like we do today. While the shirts were probably white, I chose color.
