Description
This mixed media Fractal and 3-D rendering is featured in the Euphoric Visions II solo exhibition at the Winchester Mansions in Cape Town. People usually stop and stare at its wonder. The Third Eye radiates rays of light in all directions and the powerful male figure is surrounded by a light rainbow, symbolizing his mastery of all frequencies, with all the colors representing aspects of love. This is further emphasized by his face having blue hues on one side and the red hues on the other. The points of light in the head seem to float within the sacred space.
The Master Edition is hand glazed with many layers of acrylic paint and varnish to really bring out the contrasting colors and create a three dimensional effect. Thus, each Master Edition of a fractal vision is a unique work of art and valuable as an investment piece. It can easily be removed from its stretchers and rolled in a heavy cardboard tube for safe and economical international shipment.
As a psychologist and heart-centered therapist, Dr. Durst creates visual experiences related to transformation.
