Description
There is no comparable spiritual experience than to be alone on a wilderness lake far from civilization and fully dependent upon one's own resources for survival. This solitary camper is making his way across this wilderness lake at sunset, perhaps with a stringer holding a fish or two for supper. At such a moment, one can feel a strong connection to the Creator of such awesome beauty and a deep appreciation for His marvelous work in the universe.
This scene is from a far remote lake in Northern Ontario where I spent a week with 7 friends a few years back. We were flown into Lake Sesikinaga and left on our own for the week...it was an incredible experience!
The original painting has been sold. Contact me for a painting from a photo of your own wilderness experience.
