Description
Snow Sparrow by Karen Cook - This Song Sparrow perches on a branch, its feathers ruffled against the cold as the snow falls around it, during the Nova Scotia Winter. One of North America's most abundant sparrow species, from Alaska to Mexico, their song fills the air with its melodious tunes and their plumage varies from region to region. I just think they are such a welcome visitor no matter where you live!
