While with my daughter and son-in-law we decided since we were in the town of Sleepy Hollow after my daughter and son-in-law had just completer running a 10-K race we would look around the famous Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, within the Cemetery there are some very notable individuals such as Leona Helmsley, Andrew Carnegie, Washington Irving the famous author of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, The Headless Horseman and Rip Van Winkle, also buried in this cemetery are the individuals whom Washington Irving based his books of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow and The Headless Horseman. The range of how old some of the tombstones were ranged from the 1600's to the present. Along with the size and beauty of the large amount of mausoleums that can be seen throughout this famous cemetery. While walking this mausoleum caught my eye as it sat high a top this hill with all of the beautiful foilage in the various colors of fall on the ground surrounded my many different size trees. Great view on such a beautiful fall day.
