Description
This image was taken at St Andrews beach on Jeckyl Island Georgia, at sunset. I have many more images like this one from Driftwood beach at sunrise. The surreal look is from an extreme long exposure.
This tree as well as many others like it have died as the beaches have eroded further and further inland with the salt water killing them off. While many still stand there are many that have fallen over thus the name driftwood beach.
