Description
Heartache And Strawberry Shake
by Greg Gatsby
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was super drunk last Saturday
You took me to the diner, had much to say
Heartache with a strawberry shake
You gave to me
Heartache with a strawberry shake
Early morning, and the air is so cold
The windows fog up and my heart goes numb
We came here together and left separately
And all I was left with...
So the awkward silence took its place
And the story was written on your face
Heartache with a strawberry shake
You gave to me
A bowl of tears and a plate of pain
From what you said...
Early in the morning, and the air is so cold
The windows fog up and my heart goes numb
We came here together and left separately
I called your phone, I needed to see you
One last time
Before the sun comes back
You refuse to answer, so I came to your window
Throw rocks at your window
You sound so unsure
I'm sobering up and I need to get through
You sound so unsure
I don't understand and neither do you
You sound so unsure
It's black all around, black from the skyline
Don't black me out
Don't black me out young love
