This seems very sybolic to me. I think of how children can no longer just go sit on a bench and play with out the fear of predators. The silence of it also says alot as you don't see or hear children like you did when we were younger and the world wasn't quite as scary. Great photo and sculpture and I'm sure it wasn't meant to have these ideas behind it however that is what came to my mind. vt and fv

I have to say that when I came up with the title I did consider the double meaning: silent statues, and children who sometimes do not have a voice on their behalf, so your interpretation was quite astute, Judy. Thank you for the v and f, and for your thoughts on this image.
