Pillow is great love the art work but the zipper quality is bad . Zipping it up the last bit wouldn’t go then it had a gap and continued . I cannot unzip and do again in fear of the whole thing breaking. But the art work is amazing and I am so so happy for my purchase.

Bought this for my horse loving granddaughter and she absolutely loved it. Fabric has a nice texture and inside pillow is good and fluffy. Delivery occurred in a reasonable time.

"Shinrin Yokin" is the Japanese term meaning "Forest Bathing". Isn't that perfect?!! Now when I go out into nature, I tell my friends I am going "forest bathing". The Japanese have done studies showing that even 20 minutes in the forest reduces stress hormone levels, has a positive impact on one's immune system and slows respiration and heart rate. In other words, forest bathing is GOOD FOR YOU!!! I knew this long before I ever read these studies. "Shinrin Yokin"...what wonderful medicine!
This beautiful forest path was captured at Tow Hill on Haida Gwaii (formerly known as the Queen Charlotte Islands). I feel very fortunate to have been able to experience this magical place.

All of my memories from childhood are about the LIGHT, how it glowed softly pink and orange on the horizon as I sat on the front step on a warm, still evening... how golden it was in the early morning as I tiptoed out to the apple tree beneath my bedroom window... how blinding and stark it was on a mid summer's afternoon as the sun hung high overhead. To this day my heart is full to overflowing when I think of the beauty of this planet...this jewel we call "earth". If I can portray even a small fraction of this beauty with my photos, if I can portray even a small fraction of the joy this beauty brings me, I will be pleased. To quote one of my favorite poets, Mary Oliver: "How perfectly and neatly opens...

It seems Sandi you found what make me who I am. I'm more at home in the forest then anywhere less. Ingrained deep in my blood. I also invented a hot water system that you could create a hot tub wherever there was water. Taking many bath in the forest even in the snow. The faces of other hikers as they pass by in their snow shoe seeing us setting there only in shorts is priceless. This is an amazingly beautiful shot Sandi but I was wondering if the Japanese call the forest bathing "Shinrin Yokin", what is the Japanese term and meaning for Dwight Yoakam ? As the Japanese seem to have a term for everything :o) Like / Favorite
Sandi Mikuse replied:
LOL! Hey, Ken, I hope you have patented your mobile hot tub idea! Sounds great! :)))) I am not sure what the Japanese call Dwight Yokam...do you think they have even heard of him?!!!!! Great to see you stop by, by the way my friend! :)
