Nice shot Susan. I love these birds. We live on the island of Moloka'i, here in Hawaii, and we have these beautiful birds in our yard. Essentially they are mocking birds. If you whistle a note at them, eventually they will whistle it back.

Thanks, James. I adore these birds and their incredible voices. They remind me of improvisational jazz musicians. I love the way they try out new sounds. We're heading back to Kaua'i tomorrow and are looking forward to hearing the Shama's songs. You're lucky to be living with them.
