The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
This photograph is one in my series of dark, understated photographic artworks that play homage to early 20th Century film. I use shadows with prominent edges as my inspiration, as I do in all my photos, in order to create a lasting visual impression.
Art buyers (and art lovers) will see influences to prominent early 20th century photographers such as Man Ray, J.G.W. Thompson, Edward Weston and Taylor. I offer homage to their artistic vision through my own art.
About Margaret Juul Ammann
Artist Margaret Juul enjoyed the gift of inventive creativity her entire life. Margaret was born September 1968 in Old Bethpage, New York. From her earliest memories, Margaret had the motivation and means for creative communication. During childhood, her first inspirations were several creative family members, who accompanied her frequently to some of the excellent museums in and around New York City. At the age of 12, Margaret (at the urging of friends and family) began selling her designs. Entering high school, as a source of extra income, she accepted commissions for murals and portraits.
