Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band is the eighth studio album by the British rock band, the Beatles, released 26 May 1967. In 1968 it won four Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, a first for a rock album. As of 2011 it has sold over 32 million copies. And, with the current revival of vinyl I have seen it brand new in stores.
Paul McCartney had the idea for a song mimicking an Edwardian military band that formed the basis of the Sgt. Pepper’s concept and the title track. Regarded as an early concept album and a key work of British psychedelia, it incorporates a range of stylistic influences and technological experimentation with sound effects and recording manipulation that set the bar for others to build on. Did you notice this back then?
Sgt. Pepper’s was the first pop album without gaps between the tracks.
Sgt. Pepper’s takes its place among the epic Beatles albums like, Abby Road, Revolver, and Let It Be. Add any others that top your list.

I have been behind a camera most of my life. It started in high school as newspaper and yearbook photographer. After serving in the US Armed Forces I attended Brooks Institute of Photography. Most of my career however was dedicated to video production as a director of photography, camera operator, editor, and owner operator of a video production company in Denver, Colorado.
