Where else, but on Route 66, the once famous, and now infamous road that crosses the United States from Chicago, Ill to San Diego, California, will you find buildings with beautiful paintings on buildings, like this flag of the United States? This used to be the main road/route that linked the East to the West. Now, the Interstates from East to West and West to East, make travel much faster. For those travelers who just want to sit back and enjoy the beauty and landscape of a scenic road, old Route 66 is indeed they way to go. A old fire truck and tractor sit rusting on a dirt road next to the building.
