Artist's Description
My inspiration behind this piece: lack of inspiration. Since our move to CO I've struggled to find time or energy to paint, and my new studio has been a work in progress to say the least. One day I stretched about a dozen new canvases, hoping they would motivate me to start some new paintings. My strategy actually worked and those blank canvases led to this idea: their emptiness a symbol of the artist's struggle to find the muse.
