I spent two days chasing shrimp boats along the coast. A man told me that they are fast disappearing due to cheaper shrimp from Asia. Last night I read that shrimp has risen 61% in price due to a shrimp disease in Asia which kills about half the shrimp raised in ponds during the growing stage.
