Description
You're welcome to contact artist for the original or for numbered and signed giclee print sizes that are not offered by FAA. I scuba dive; while I was on a dive, I saw this magnificent "creature of the sea." I could not rest until I painted her. Beautiful, she was! Her movements were majestic; I swam just above her, not seeing her at first in her camouflaged place; she was resting on the coral area, hiding, I think. Then she must have been a bit alarmed by us as she swam out and up around us. She made her impression on me, because I was so close to her. I spotted this turtle on a dive in John Pennekamp State Park, Key Largo in Aug. of 2008. I did not paint her right away, but her image, in my head, nagged at me until I painted her in 2011.
