It was very hot, the sand almost too hot for bare feet. You had to sprint tippy-toed to the water to cool your sizzling tootsies. Straw hat a necessity. This is the Gulf of Mexico from the middle of the west coast of Florida. If you lived here, you would never have to go on vacation again, you are already there.
