Description
The day comes to a soft and easy end in Scopello on the island of Sicily. All is quite and peaceful now, but for centuries, fisherman brought their tuna here to this once busy place to be processed. The distant tower belies the necessity of alertness in those ancient days in case of raids from unfriendly seafarers. It almost seems as if nature is slowly but surely reclaiming this rustic place from those eons of human activity.

I want to walk into this painting right now and sit on the warm earth under those mulberry clouds.Blues and greens are mixing and merging with mauves and splashes of Mediterranean sunlight.
