This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

These birds are prevlent in our area. They mate for life and have one or 2 chicks a year. They co-exist with us as we develope their lands. These birds live just down the road from us at my Mother-in-laws lake. They are one of my favorite birds and I love to paint them.
About Roxanne Tobaison
I have lived in Florida all my life and been painting since 1979. There is a never ending array of inspiration of the local historical landmarks, scenes of the Tampa Bay area, the wonderful birdlife and the tropical fauna and animals of the area. From the very first brush stroke, I knew I was destined to paint. What a wonderful gift to be able to do something so rewarding and to share that talent with others. I feel very blessed to have this God given ability. My watercolors are realistic and my media of choice. I love the way the colors intermingle and the white paper glows through.
