I like this becouse I know that confronted with this mountain and the sunflowers I would not have the technical know how to have captured what I was looking at.

The Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve is difficult to shoot for many reasons other than blowing sand. Elevation ranges from 7500-14000+ ft - 2286m - 4290m+. The dune field in the distance is approx 30 sq miles - 48 sq km, while the sand sheet I shot this from is over 100 sq miles - 160 sq km. Every square inch is beautiful!
