A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Portrait of the American inventor and painter Samuel Morse (1791-1872). Morse graduated at the University of Yale in 1810 and in 1811 he visited England to study painting, returning in 1815 to earn his living as a portrait painter. In 1832, after having been helped by the American physicist J. Henry, he had the idea of a design for the electric telegraph. In 1844 the first telegraph line, about 65km long, was completed linking Washington to Baltimore. The first message sent by Morse was "What hath God wrought"; it was sent in a code of dots and dashes, the Morse code, which he had devised in 1838. Morse never acknowledged the help received by J. Henry.
