Sailboats in a heavy fog in Maine. This is a morning scene taken just before the sun came up, while the cold air caused a deep fog over the harbor where the boats were anchored. It was a peaceful scene that soon disappeared as the warming morning sun cause the fog to part. The fog is so thick that the big boats quickly disappear in the distance. hi jack-- thanks for the continued compliments. your 'see the sound II' has very similar colors. hey! this is pretty much what it looked like thru the fog. i'm still intrigued (puzzled) how you get that swirling texture under the 'surface' of your work. really cool!
